Teacher's Conference
Iowa State University College of Engineering Precollegiate Programs will host the 2009 Iowa PLTW® Teacher’s Conference at the Quality Inn & Suites Starlite Conference Center on Monday, October 12th, 2009.

Counselor's Conference
The University of Iowa will be hosting the 2009 Iowa PLTW® Counselor's Conference at the Coralville Marriott on Tuesday, October 20, 2009.
- Cost of registration is $30
- Lunch will be provided
- A block of rooms has been set aside at the Marriott for those attendees who would like to reserve one; cost for the room is $103, plus tax (parking is included). Reservations must be received by the Marriott by Tuesday, September 29, 2009.
- Parking will be $0.75 per hour or $8.00 per day for those attendees not staying at the Marriott
Teacher Training
We are pleased to announce that again this summer we will be offering PLTW Summer Training Institutes here in the state of Iowa. Training will be offered both at University of Iowa and at Iowa State University. Please hold the following dates:

** To accommodate the July 4th holiday, Session #3 will begin on Monday, July 6th. Monday’s attendance will be mandatory and will serve as the travel, orientation and software loading day. Instruction will begin on Tuesday the 7th. Tuesday through Friday, and Monday through Thursday will serve as 9 hour days. This will allow the STI to conclude at noon on the final Friday.
